A little optimism during swine flu madness in Mexico City (on top of that, there was a small earthquake this morning too). We’ll get through this Mexico! Thanks Colleen for helping me chase this guy down! Also, see Alexis and Deanna for some proper documentation of the happenings.

Every Sunday morning the city closes down lanes and entire streets for bikes and pedestrians only. They create a loop going through the center and south of the city. The last Sunday of each month is an extended loop called the Cicloton which is about 32km (~20 mile). This is absolutely one of my favorite things about D.F.
